In our North Georgia workshop, Whiskey, Wine and Design caters to the folks that enjoy finer revisions, attention to detail and unique artistic alternatives. Take our SIGNATURE blacksmith bolts. Most other barrel product crafters utilize cheap rivets or self tapping screws but we never liked that look. Instead, we wanted to create a vintage or even medieval look to our barrel products and that's what our blacksmith bolts hit the mark on. It takes us longer to place them than say self-taping screws or rivets, but it brings an unmatched style that our customers have come to love.
Another attention to detail would be the barrel hoops we add. Take a look at some competitors. Typically you will see sharp, square corners (along with those rivets). Instead, we polish every barrel hoop nice and shiny with only some of the residual rust markings accenting the hoop after we're done polishing it. Then we grind out those sharp square corners. But even that's not enough. We sand every side so that when you or a friend goes to pick up our Cigar Throne for a closer inspection, you will clearly see and feel that we went the extra mile for you. We use the same detail methodology with our sanding, making sure edges are rounded versus sharp and pointy.
All of this takes time. We are rarely the cheapest alternative available, but if you are willing to pay for attention to detail, then Whiskey, Wine and Design products are your solution.
We have four cigar holders in our Cigar Throne Family. Glasses are NOT included. The rocks glass cup holder portion is 3.5" wide. Please measure the bottom of your glasses before ordering to make sure they will fit. The Glencairn cup holder is 2" and designed to hold the Glencairn glass specifically. The cup holders are protected from moisture.
First is our ORIGINAL Cigar Throne. This one includes an authentic bourbon barrel stave tip with the cigar rest crossing over the front of the stave tip and the cup holder behind the barrel hoop. Unless otherwise requested, it comes with the "Fueled By Cigars & Bourbon" laser inside the cup holder. You may choose to keep this or customize the interior of the cup holder with something of your own choosing.
Second, we have the DOUBLE ASHTRAY Cigar Throne (DBL ASH). This one includes an authentic bourbon barrel stave tip that we turn upside down to accent the char side. From each end we have created the cigar rest groove that ends in a large ash tray in the middle of the stave. Both grooves are offset a bit in order to easily have two tips in the ash tray simultaneously. The underside is planed to lay perfectly flat on your desired surface.
Third, we have the mac daddy grand MASTER Cigar Throne. This one features the longest authentic bourbon barrel stave tip because it includes a cigar rest groove down the middle that ends into an ash tray, the barrel hoop and a rocks glass cup holder. The holder is also lasered with the "Fueled by Cigars & Bourbon" logo. You may choose to keep this or customize the interior of the cup holder with something of your own choosing.
And finally, our fourth Cigar Throne is similar to the original cigar throne but it is smaller and designed to hold the GLENCAIRN glass.
