The Story Behind Our Lids
Each barrel lid has been saturated in bourbon or whiskey for years, causing the wood to expand. When we receive these lids, they are still high in moisture, which can cause them to shrink and develop cracks over time. To prevent this, every Whiskey, Wine and Design lid is kiln-dried to a moisture level of 6%. This process ensures that our lids will retain their form for a perfect, long-lasting appearance. Our meticulous preparation ensures that your barrel lid will remain a beautiful, enduring addition to your home decor.

Deep Laser Engraving: Each lid is deeply engraved with your chosen design, ensuring the artwork will never wear out or peel off. The laser engraving penetrates deep into the American Oak, providing a ridge that adds to the charm and authenticity.

Perfect Size: Our barrel lids are generally around 22" in diameter, making them ideal for hanging on your wall.

I ordered one lid with a personal logo on it - I loved it and it made me think of another way to use the lids - as end tables! I ordered a second lid and purchased an end table that had the same dimensions as the lids - and fastened the lid to it. Came out great. The other lid I placed onto a large ceramic jug to make another end table. Lots of ways to use these beautiful works of art. My heartfelt thanks to Karen and Tom !!! Great lids - Great people. Ordered a lid with my old Fighter Squadron logo - and used it as an end table vice hanging. Tom and Karen worked with me on the design to ensure it would look just right. They did a great job and got my lid in less than a week. I love it - so much so I ordered a SECOND one - also had a request on the second one and they were happy to make the adjustments - they are friendly, helpful and ready to help design your perfect barrel lid.
